However, Bale has revealed that compatriot Ryan Giggs is the best teammate he has had during a Question and Answer session with Foot Locker, he said: “For me the greatest player is Ryan Giggs. He was my hero growing up and is a legend in world football. It also helps he’s a fellow Welshman,”
This revelation might upset Ronaldo who led Portugal to beat Wales 2-0 at the semi-finals of the Euro 2016 in France.
Giggs was an Old Trafford hero spending his entire footballing career with United, becoming the most decorated player in club football history. Ronaldo has quite a number of laurels to his name and has notably won three Ballon d’or till date.
